Splendid masterpieces of international cooperative creation.
The illustration of the cover of the WPY 2015 by the excellent artist Fu Zenan, the founder of “The China New Savagery Arts Group”, is talking.
Dr Zhang Zhi, is a famous Chinese poet and philosopher born in Phoenix Town, County of Baxian, Sichuan. He is a Doctor of Literature and director of the International Poetry Translation and Research Centre in the district Chongqing, China. He began to publish his literary work and translations in 1986. Some of his writings has been published in multiple foreign languages. We could be grateful to him for the creation of different editions of world Poetry yearbooks enclosing the writings of well-known poets, resulting from the cooperation of writers, artists and translation revisers. The poetry of Zhang Zhi, alias Arthur Zhang, Diablo, incites us to universal consciousness raising : he observes the world with a critical eye, sometimes with irony. Zhang Zhi is a committed poet. The world is applauding for politicians... Politicians bath the world in blood...(WPY 2014). We really need a pacifist transformation of the world.
The World Poetry Yearbook 2015 has been illustrated by the great art works of Fu Zenan, Feng Junxiong, Tan Jun, Wang Jin, HongJie Zen. On the spine of this book we can discover the picture of Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, an excellent poetess from U.S.A. There is a copy of the World Poetry Yearbook 2014 in the catalogue of the Royal Library of Brussels.
Many thanks to Dr. Zhang Zhi who offers us the opportunity to read in the WPY 2015 the writings of 221 poets from 101 countries and areas. We have luck to have at our disposal this fantastic realization, a window to a better world, a world wherein Peace will conduct us to a hopeful horizon...
